Breast feeding

Parents who just had a baby want to give their children the best. Breast milk is the best food for babies to eat when they are first born. Experts say that kids should be breastfed for between six and twelve months. Infant formula is the only thing that can be used instead of breast milk. When the baby is 4 to 6 months old, they can start eating solid foods, but for the first year, they should only drink breast milk or formula, not cow’s milk. The protein in breast milk is different from the protein in cow’s milk. This is good for cows, but it can be hard for babies to digest. Most bottle-fed babies are bigger than breastfed babies, but that doesn’t mean they are healthy.

At least 100 of the things in human milk can’t be found in formula. No baby is allergic to its mother’s milk, but it could be allergic to something the mother eats. If she stops eating it, the problem will go away on its own.

The jaw also grows well when a baby suckles at the breast. It takes more work to get milk from a breast than from a bottle. This exercise strengthens the jaws and helps straight, healthy teeth grow. The baby can also control how much milk comes out by sucking and stopping. With a bottle, the baby has to keep sucking or respond to the pressure of the nipple when it is put in the mouth.

At first, a baby who is breastfed will need to be fed 8–12 times in 24 hours. This is because both the baby and the mother are getting used to the process. Breast milk is digested more quickly than formula, which is another reason why babies need to eat more often. The baby’s steady sucking at the breast also helps the mammary glands make more milk to meet the baby’s growing needs. But the extra time it takes to feed the baby that first year is well worth it because breast milk gives the baby the best nutrition and passes on the mother’s immunity.
